I'd like to take this opportunity to give a big thumbs up for the Cinetactics Matteblox Kit for the Anamorphic lens.

It's very well made, good looking and in action functions very well.  If you're wondering about the velcrow straps, I am pleased to say that they hold to the lens very well.  I spun the camera around with it on and it didn't move or fall off.

The additional oversized french flag is huge!!!  I was actually startled by it.  The standard flag is the perfect size.

I would recommend using the 4x5 filters over the 4X4 for this mattebox.  However that doesn't mean it can't handle the 4X4.  The 4X5 are easier to use.

If a Croziel is too much money, and you don't need a rotating filter holder, than this is a perfect choice.

I have been salivating over one of these myself. Does anyone know if EVS is going to offer it anytime soon? I know that have the mb100m (regular) kit but I have not seen anything on the mb145a (anamorphic) ;)

Hi David, we do carry the mb145a, but it's just not on our site yet. I will send my Webmaster a note and ask him to do that. I have had one in rentals for a while now, and it works great. ;D Cinetactics are very cool guys.

I just emailed them asking for photos.. Cinetactics makes some very solid stuff thats for sure.

I just bought the matteblox kit. (not anamorphic) What would anyone recommend for filters. Should I buy a selection of filters, what type, and what size?
