I'm a bit disappointed you didn't figure a way to filter the box. I've got your matteblox and filter set-up for my cam and it's a gem but I still have problems with the filter set-up. Couldn't you guys have thought out a way to set this up with fixed and rotating filter slots in front of the lens? ???

The idea for the matteblox was to create a foldable, compact, rugged, and affordable mattebox that blocks out stray light and support square filters. I believe we have met our goals with the matteblox design. We had many designs for matteboxes before we decided on the soft matteblox design. From talking to many guerrilla filmmakers, we found out they rather have portability rather than dedicated rotating stages with added bulk. They said if needed, they could just rotate the matteblox slightly to acheive the same effect. So far, customers are very happy with our products. We don't want to be like other companies and just copy designs. We always want to be innovative and create different and better products for the budget minded filmmakers.
