Cinemek's Hitchcock Storyboard Composer for iPhone

I'm a fan...you had me at Hitch.

Now I have no grounds to avoid buying that iPhone

Haha, Thanks!

This looks amazing but is there any way that you could make an option for story boarding in 2.35:1 aspect ratio?

This looks like a neat app. I’m a G1 user (please consider us for future versions!), so I can’t download it, but I’m curious as to the benefits of this being on a mobile platform rather than a desktop one. The interface looks simple enough but the process of actually storyboarding strikes me as something one would want to be stationary for some time to do well.

You may be out of luck with the G1. It would require a very costly re-build and would probably not be worth the investment unfortunately. Rumor has it that Apple will be updating the iPod Touch with a camera and Mic. Maybe that is an option?

Yes, the old process of storyboarding is very time consuming and requires a desk. We are introducing a new process all together. I've worked in the industry for about 9 years now and the thing I see happen the least is storyboarding. Everyones complaint? It takes too long, and I can't draw. So I'm stuck with a camera on my shoulder trying to figure out what my Director wants. "Now, you can keep your old storyboarding process, all we are doing is offering a new more efficient way to pre-visualize your projects." Here is a quick demo I did on the street a few weeks ago. The film looks like it's going to suck pretty badly, but the storyboarding process is what matters here.

Thanks for your input.

damn you houser. after that demo (which kicked serious a$$) of hitchcock in use, i have no arguments about the price.

well done, well done indeed. you got my money brother.

Just downloaded it.

I'm going to my local FCPUG tonight and I'll be showing off my new shiny software toy to all the other nerds. Maybe score you a few more sales.

Right on! Thank you for your business. :) You are located in Hawaii yes? What island are you on?

Yep. In Hawaii. Just moved back about 6 weeks ago. I'm on O'ahu.

You're still in Seattle? I was there for about 2 weeks just before we came here. Stayed with family in Kent. If I wasn't here, that would be at the top of my list. I love it there.

great job

was worth every penny

I tried it out on a decent size scene this weekend

updates of things i would like

1 record more than 3 seconds of audio

2 export some sort of movie file

3 the people/figures are fine just a change color option so you can track who's who.

4 a button to delete storyboard on the load storyboard scene
