Cinemek G35

I don't think there's been a set date. The company has gone into seclusion, seems like very few people have gotten in contact with them. I'm starting to lose my faith with the company... I keep hoping they'll make that post on here, the one that says "after a brief hiatus, we're back and we're shipping NOW"... probably won't happen though

I just wish that Jonathon would just come out and say something. I think he's too scared to let people know a few things in fear of losing customers. I still see threads on different forums from other sites where the date is back in March 2005 and Jon's saying the release date is Summer '05. Then more dates, and more dates, and more dates............

It's the anxiousness and being left in the dark that kills me. Instead of a "few more months" I'd rather see a picture to show they're working or something. Just something. I stumbled onto a picture of the PRODUCTION UNIT disassembled and got excited as hell, even emialed Jon and told him I'd seen their 'SECRET.'

It's like the Guerilla35 is Christmas but Santa hasn't told us the date yet............

My spot is #22 though.........

Still got $1,500 in my savings just for it, too. The only thing I hate is that people push back projects, for what? I'm good with the DVX100a by itself, so why blame Cinemek for lazy cinematography? I have my own 35mm adapter that's getting the job done for now. I can't wait for the G35 but some people need to stop with the excuses, it's not going to magically turn you into Speilberg.........

they were deal with preorder places. And had plan to take reservation fee - $500.
But did they? Or rather paid somebody that money?

Eagle - put those 1500 into those juice vending machines. Now that they are
banning cokes from school, you can invest in some stock while you are waiting.
That stock went up within one week.

Speaking of coke has anybody ever been to the Coca Cola factory ? It's amazing how many drinks they have that we never heard of.

Hi guys,

Norm here. Don't worry, it's coming out soon. I spoke with Jonathan on the phone about a week ago for an update and he told me they are still hoping to hit a June shipment of the first "x" amount of orders.

Cheers,

Norm

there are amny other good alternatives for 35 adpters you know.

SGpro is amazing, and the go 35 is good too. so is the brevis.

what is your opinion on the ifocus, or the focus35

data corruption

data corruption

There's a note on the Cinemek website asking everyone on the pre-order list and mailing list to sign up again because some data was lost.

Atlanta has a Coke musuem I think that's what is was called, lived in Atlanta a few
years ago. They have this section where you can taste all of the sodas Coke
makes, from different countries no less. I think the soda in Israel was a bit harsh.
There were a few from the islands that I liked, better than Coke itself.

You can get sick though tasting all of the samples.

i dontknow ihavent used them.

to date have first hand knowledge of LETUS35, Go35, SGpro, and a freind has the brevis. I can only speak for thoes. the i focus looksrealllly soft.

but my new theory is to look at 35 adapters like film stocks. each has its own charachteristics. people should really start looking at footage. cause they all look different and render hightlights and shadows differently, depending on the Screen material.

there are more choices now.

its just that the ifocus with a nikon mount and a nikon lens of an fstop of 1.4 is being sold around the 500-550 range.
