Cinemek Delivery -- 3 months later?

not much money in the iphone app business unless you do something that appeals to the general population. I don't see a storyboarding app is going to make anything near the amount they could make if they got their adapter **** together.

Urrgh, All i can say is "thats so unfortunate, since i know Jonathan and he means well in every way. I truly hope you get your adapter after all this, it is truly beautiful as we just shot for SyFy channel with it on a EX1 in the desert and it is mind blowing !

wow fantastic images - those colours don't look like the EX1.. must have been excellent lighting on the day. Do u have any footage?

Well it has now been more than a week and my G35 still hasn't shipped :(

I have been offered a discount, so I know he means well, but really I'd rather just get my hands on my G35

I sent him an email on 26th but still no reply... I'm wary of just leaving it to trust now, as when I do nothing, nothing seems to happen......... I guess it's back on to badgering cinemek again to get my G35 shipped..

Come on Jonathan... please answer my emails... is there a tracking number for it yet? Has it been shipped?

I too received an email offering a discount and said he will be shipping shortly. Ordered on april 8. He sounds like he means well and I appreciate the discount but also would just like to have been able to use it on a feature I finished shooting for the last 3 months.
 
man. i am so grateful i attended that cinemek g35 workshop. or else i might be in the same boat as you guys. I just want to mention in defense of Jonathan he is such a nice guy. He was very cool in showing me the g35 before i purchased it. Also when i discovered my unit had a blemish, he immediately sent me a new unit

hope everything works out for all of you.

I ordered in August last year! I think it's over a year now - has anyone ever waited this long? He has been saying "it'll ship next week" for over 12 months now. He said 11 days ago "it will ship next week", so I was expecting it to be shipped by now. I asked for the tracking number yesterday and he said it hadn't been posted yet.. he said he's sorry and "it will ship next week"... really I'm at a loss now. I know he has offered a 25% discount, but I have been waiting for over a year now and I just don't understand why this is taking so long. I'm a very patient person, but now I wish I could get an explanation or something, because I've lost faith that it will arrive.

Really I will just be amazed if it arrives.

Time to request your money back or seek legal represenation or both!

Really. Unless this is the only product that will get your work done for you, your instincts that you are being treated badly are correct. I did not wait that long for a hand made telescope with 18 inch mirror.

Just because a product may be great doesnt mean the company should succeed if everything else about its business model is awful. Get your money back and order a Shoot35.
 
i second the shoot35. i received my blade about a month later after placing my order. and the couple of months that i have had it i have been loving it. the only reason i was drawn to the g35 was no moving parts and that it was completely sealed so nothing can go wrong with it. but after reading these horror stories on here i decided to go with the blade. the guys at shoot35 were quick in responding to any questions i had and i had a lot of them so im confident to say that if anything goes wrong with my adapter that i would be taken care of.

Hey Matt. just external filters, Matte Box Pola , Sunset Grad, and internal pic profile settings, footage is on its way as am i shooting again and the show is due out Christmas, but honestly speaking, 'it is am amazing filmic adapter!'

Hope it all works out for everybody, it will be a shame if it ends up like the Dolorean, a real shame mate!
