Im looking for summer courses "Cinematography" or "Film, Video, and Broadcasting" in the NYC/NJ area.
Looking at universities to find decent courses, NYU. Columbia, Cuny. I find it hard to find specific "cinematography" course. So to be more specific im look for courses that focus on; lighting, composition and editing. Has anyone advise/suggestions on a 4 to 6 weeks program?

many thanks
S.

The New School (I think it actually has a new name now) also offers classes. I haven't taken them, but worth looking in to.

You could also consider taking a class (or combination of classes) at DCTV. Their focus is on digital aquisition, but might work for you. dctv.org
