Cinematographer Demo Reel

Well, I wouldn't hire you to light a $200mil feature... but for your level, it seems to be pretty good work, I think it's the right step on the path to getting more work.

As far as comments go, on your lighting, or at least the shots you choose to put in your reel, I would stay away from things naturally lit with sunlight, or at least do some post work to make them look pretty... yes, that's kind of cheating, but if you're going to have those shots you need SOMETHING that sets them apart from everyone else who just took a camera outside and shot some stuff. That may be exactly what the scene calls for, but it doesn't really show off any skill or talent (on the surface... I'm sure there was a lot of work put in in terms of picking the right location, right time and right position to get the most of the sunlight... but that's never going to be obvious in a three second shot).

I've also noticed that people tend to love camera movement. See what you can find that has really clean, smooth camera movement and use that (you have some of it in there, maybe leave it in a bit longer so people can really appreciate it)
