I see in the Pan/Crop presets there is a 16x9 and a 1.85:1 crop setting, but what if I want 2.35:1? How do I figure out the correct settings for that?

If you're cropping 4:3, make the height 270.

If cropping 16x9, make the height 364.

Those are, of course, approximate.
 
I'm sorry, I should have given all the information. I shot with the anamorphic and am pulling the clips into a 24p Widescreen template. After I drop a clip on the timeline I change the pixel aspect ration to 1.2121 so it stretches the image out.

If I then check the Pan/Crop window the height is already at 360...so setting it to 364 at that point makes it a larger crop, not smaller. Any ideas on how to crop this footage to 2.35:1?

If you shot with the animorphic and you have a widescreen template your height should be 480 pixels not 360.
 
Sorry, you're right... I was looking at the X Center value for some reason :embarasse It looks like that works now.
