cinema tools work around

Greetings, hey Magi or anyone else, when using the work around with
cinema tools reverse telecine etc.
23.98 timeline etc.
My FCP transitions etc do not work. Has anyone else encountered this?

What codec did you transcode to and do your sequence settings match? Also, you have to be careful when looking at the extracted clips; sometimes Cinema Tools only gets some of it right.

You usually need to export each clip from the A frame of the pulldown sequence. (first of 3 progressive frames, followed by 2 interlace)

I had good luck by always exporting each clip with the same cadence properties.
 
I am working in AIC everything is correct, cinema tools worked fine,but transitions will not load.
I get an insufficient content for edit warning.
 
It's probably because you're editing at the beginning of the actual content of a clip, which means there aren't sufficient frames to create a transition. For a 1 second transition, each clip on both sides needs to be trimmed at least 15 frames from the last/first frame of the actual recorded media. ((outgoing/incoming clip)
