Cinema Tools CRAZINESS - EMERGENCY!!!

I have an emergency Cinema Tools question that is driving me absolutely batsh*t crazy. I just noticed that, on all the files that I had brought into Cinema Tools, to conform from 24P to 23.98P, originally a frame size of 1280x720, now when I go to "Finder: File: Get Info" show up instead as 640x360. WTF?!?!?? Thing is, when I again bring them into Cinema Tools, and analyze, it still shows the frame size as 1280x720, and oddly enough FCP recognizes the files as 1280x720. What's even stranger is the fact that the actual file size does not shift, for example 5.6MB file before Cinema Tools is still 5.6 MB, which is odd if the frame size really did half itself. On an eyeball check, the picture quality is identical between a copied file that did not go through Cinema Tools, and remained 24P, and the one that was conformed to 23.98. WHAT IN THE HELL HAPPENS IN CINEMA TOOLS THAT SHOULD MESS WITH THE FRAME SIZE?!?!? Why does finder no longer see it as 1280x720? This is like going to a surgeon, and finding that he's tried, and failed, at fixing the brakes of your car - which weren't even broken in the first place.

Called FCP support yesterday, and this is an error in communication between Cinema Tools and Finder - although it's not so much an error, in computer programming terms as it is just counterintuitive design. The files, are still 1280x720, which if you open the file in QT, and go up and get info from within QT, you'll see a box that shows that, as well as the other facts that the MB's don't shrink, etc. He agreed that this is counterintuitive to a film/video production workflow, and suggested we make support suggestions via email. Upshot - the files are NOT 640x360, they ARE 1280x720. I made him fully aware that it took me three beers to calm down after thinking that my files had all shrunk, and he apologized. With more and more people working with HD files, people ARE going to NOW come across this problem, which is why this thread or the other thread should be stickied in some way - that way we'll have fewer heart attacks in the DVXuser community.
