CINEFUSE X: any experiences?

Hello

I am just wondering if anyone has purchased and tested the cfx from cinevate? They say its a superior version of the cf3. Which i bought and never used because of the issue with GSE. I am hoping this one will get me the image quality of the cf3 without the gse issue.

P, there's quite a few clips in our forum footage section using CFX, and CFXL. Phil B shot this recently:

CFX and CFXL actually have a tighter bokeh than even our CF1 and CF1LE, while improving the aperture range of CF3 and CF3Le by 3 stops. Our first attempt shooting with it was doing our EX1 fix/Zeiss lens test.

just to clarify does it have the ground texture issue of the cf3? and does it have the same film like look of the cf3? i really liked the way the cf3 image looked.

It's got the similar DOF (actually a bit shallower) than CF3, however the grain structure in the out of focus areas is actually tighter than CF1. It's a better image in every respect. We shot our entire Cinevate promotional piece with it. This will be used on our website, NAB, and a few other edits for third parties.
