I want to render some files as 1280x720 avi (with cineform codec). Now this type of avi, as i tested, plays back properly in windows media player (i think since vegas is installed on this machine). But if i were to play it on another system , will it play back smooth as this or does it need a cineform playback decoder to be installed on that system ??

(incidentally the cinform site offers a free decoder for playback of all cineform based files right ??,,, called neo player or something,,,will installing that assure proper playback on the other system ??)
