Cinebags CB-01 (Original)

[Rhydon]

With my new Chrosziel 450-01 mattebox on the HVX im left with a rather difficult situation... it wont fit in anything.

Upon purchasing the HVX i bought the Cinebags CB-01 production bag (new version), it fit the camera, and all accessories, perfectly. Now, with the Chrosziel setup, im left with a camera that is too tall (about an inch too much for the CB-01).

Does anyone know where to get the ORIGINAL Cinebags CB-01? Jarred, the bag you have, that motherload of a film bag, the original CB-01 that they discontinued, is there any place that still has them?

I absolutly love the style of the Cinebags and am trying as hard as possible to stay away from Pelican (prefer soft-case). I cant seem to find anything that will safly fit my new HVX with mattebox (18"L x 11"Wx x 10"H).

Any suggestions?

My thoughts would be to take off the mattbox before storing the camera, especially in a soft case. That would be a dangerous stress to the lens housing. JMHO.

? its an entire rod support system.

I'm going with the Zacuto Foam Insert for the Pelican 1650 case. Check it out:

Yes, it is spendy, but I can leave the Matte on AND the follow focus -- and everything else I need in here.

Pretty nice.
