Cine Gear 2014

Anyone going?

If you are, make sure to stop by and say hi to the Abel team!

And if you happen to be around the day before (June 5), we're holding a pretty special event: Modern Camera Movement & Advanced Wireless Solutions

The event will feature demos, hands-on time, a special panel discussion between Garrett Brown, inventor of Steadicam, and Tabb Firchau of Freefly Systems - plus the chance to win your own brand new MoVI M5

Hope to see you guys there!

In case anyone is unfamiliar with CineGear Expo it is a don't miss event on the Paramount lot in Hollywood. It's more of a film industry event and worth coming to LA to attend.... Oh, and Abel always puts on a good show...

Yes, in some ways it's better than NAB...outside on the New York Streets (and 2 stages), films showing in the Paramount theater (big screen, 4K projector), all the manufacturers (even from Europe & Asia), and more of the real working DPs, ACs, etc, in attendance......and for those attending Friday Afternoon/evening, open bars! See you there!

Well, my original post was just about Cine Gear - but we've got so much going on in LA that week that we're calling it AbelCine Cine Gear Week! You can check out the full list of events here & classes here: http://about.abelcine.com/2014/05/22/abelcine-cine-gear-week-2014/

If you've never been to our LA office, this would be a great reason to visit!

I'm confused, is cine gear in LA or NYC?

Cinegear is staged on the outdoor New York set on the Paramount lot in Los Angeles. The seminars are put on in some of the stages on the lot.
