Cine Dolly KIT

Anyone use it? I'm about to buy it but the website doesn't seem to show enough pictures nor does it give me a full idea of what I am buying.

It says a kit so I am guessing a dolly & track, it doesn't really fully say whats all included. I pmed the owner on here but I'm looking to buy one tonight, I seen one on ebay thats fairly decent for a damn good price so I'm trying to make sure its what I am loooking for.
 
There's no track or dolly platform. All that's included is the wheel assembly + screws and you have to buy your own platform and put it together yourself.

Well I seen this rig on Ebay and for the price you can't beat it at all.

You can stand on the rig and from the reviews a lot of good stuff.


& back to the first question I had, this dolly for some reason looks like it comes with a platform http://www.rowecine.com/cinedolly.html but I guess they've done away with this... Hmm poorly advertised website is all I can say.

Everything on my youtube channel was shot with that ebay dolly, I love it. Something very dolly heavy a shot:

But the rest was also shot with that ebay dolly.
 
i've personally used a rowe cine dolly (neil rowe is a member on the site) and I must tell you, that ebay dolly looks like a piece of crap compared to the rails Neale puts together. You also have the option to make the platform as big as you want with Neil's kit. The handle on the ebay one looks flimsy too. Neale's is made from speed rail and durable.

The rowe cine dolly is better. Get it. Get some plywood at home depot and put it together yourself (you'll probably save $40-$50 shipping this way...)

I ordered the ebay dolly, lets hope its what its all said to be. I'm not really into having to make a dolly, if I wanted to make one I'd make it with out having to buy the guts for the cost of what I could buy a full set up dolly.

Either or way if that hook is flimsy I'll just make something but if it works why complain.

I saved over 300 dollars with the ebay kit and that 300 I can now invest into something different.
