Chrosziel rod kit and Century 1.6 Tele

Just got my Century 1.6 Tele and the rods that came with my mattebox seem about an inch too short for the long lens. The rods are about 4.5" long. Are these the right rods? I tried to slide the rods forward out of the base to mate up with the mattebox, but this seems weak and flexes. Any ideas? Do they make longer rods? Thanks, Bill

The mount is super silky, but havn't been able to take it outside just yet (rod problem) but there is some vignetting on super wide angle ( but it IS a tele). Sucker sure is heavy and adds a lot to the front end weight. I will definitely have to rebalance on the tripod head.

I've never heard anyone describe the bayonet mount as such.  You are right on, though.

Enjoy! Give us a full report when you are ready, pls
