Chromatic aberration in b&w commercial??????

I was watching a Fuel TV commercial that had someone snowboarding in a half pipe. The whole thing was in black and white but...what???? What's this? CA on black and white?!? I don't understand. On the edges of the pipe and on other dark, straight objects there was obvious blue and yellow CA. How can this happen if its b&w?

Could it have anything to do with your display?

No it was on a crt tv.

I guess if they shot with camera settings of b&w instead of doing it in post there could still be CA. I don't really know though.
