Hey guys! First off, admin Jason Ramsey gave me permission to post about this here. I double checked with him to make sure this wasn't breaking any rules and he is cool with it.
I will be directing a Christmas movie this summer called Santa’s Little Ferrets. It’s the story of how Santa really delivers the presents on Christmas Eve - with the help of three highly trained ferrets!
This is going to be a half hour, live action Christmas TV Special and I’m really excited about it. We’ve been using private investors to cover the majority of production costs, and I’m happy to report we are almost completely financed!
I’m posting here today because I am currently just $10K short of reaching our goal. We are looking for two investors with $5K or one with $10K to fill that gap.
Sometimes money can be found where you least expect it… so maybe you don’t have it, or aren’t interested, but is it possible you know someone who might be interested? Anyone who invests a minimum of $5K would receive Executive Producer credits, a percentage of the profits from the film, and if they have a business, we can display their logo in the end credits and do cross promotion with social media. Can you think of anyone that might want to do that?
Synopsis:
It’s Christmas Eve in a typical suburban household -- two worn-out parents, three wildly excited children. In a desperate attempt to get the kids to sleep, their father tells them a homespun bedtime story, an instant Christmas classic -- the story of Santa’s little ferrets. Although very few people know it, it seems that Santa brings an elite security detail with him every Christmas Eve -- three highly trained ferrets. Their job? Make sure no one’s awake, trying to catch a glimpse of Santa. But on this particular night the unexpected happens, and the line between fantasy and reality becomes blurred. Suddenly, the ferrets’ entire security operation is in jeopardy.
It's a really solid script with an awesome cast and crew attached and a strong distribution strategy. I would be happy to share more details with anyone who is seriously interested.
If that's you, please email me at ferretnado@gmail.com thanks
