Chris Cunnningham video

I need to pick up a copy of the "Works of Chris Cunningham" disc. I already have the Spike Jonze and Michel Gondry discs. I love Chris Cunningham.

Alsois that version a different cut? theres stuff in it that i dont remeber form the version i saw?
 
Yeah, it's pretty good. but I just wanted u to know billy, this video is not on it. neither is the more resent playstation commerical :(

What pisses me off is his short film is not on it either. just a clip. Its great! I saw it at a museum and cant find it anywhere.

jonathan glazers was great too. the vide ofor rabbit in your headlights gives me goosebumps. his work is more a work of art than "music video" like Gondry.
 
i absolutely love this video. apparently cunningham came out of 'retirement' from music videos to make it - he head the song and called up the horrors' management, saying he had a great idea for a video!

the beauty is it's simplicity, and cunningham is indeed the master of the individual frame. that's what makes him such a genius - his ability to reduce it to a frame-by-frame level. you'll see very much the same methodology in his great short film 'Rubber Johnny.'

i imagine people must feel weird making the video, cause like he probably tells them.. "ok put this octopus on your face, and shake your head back and forth real fast. Ok stand still.... do the same with this chicken skin on your face.... ok stand still... now lets wrapthis pig intestines around your face...... shake.... Good..... Good....... ok now .... etc...."
