choppy play back in fcp when composited in AE

im using key light to key a green screen , then after I render and export in pro res 4444
, i import the mov. file into FCP , i have a choppy play back , its not disk speed and not sequence settings.Even after i render again and export to the final draft it is still choppy.HELP!
 
I encoded the 5dmk2 footage as pro res 4444 from the log and transfer using the eos plugin . my sequence setts where 1920x1080 , 23.98fps,square , my alpha chanel was set to black in the modify dropdown.My comp setts in AE were the same as i dropped them on the new comp box, in the render they were 23.98 , prores 4444, millions of colors+rgb+alpha.
I re-imported my entire project , straight from the dcim folder which is h.264 from the 5d into AE with out transcoding them into 4444 . so i basically avoided final cut and keyed my footage as h264 , then rendered and exported the movies using ANIMATION codec instead of 4444, then imported those keyed alpha channel movies into fcp and they are playing smooth as silk.why do you think this is , really interesting?
