choosing a portable HD

Now that I know I can use a USB 2 portable HD with DV Rack, I need to choose one. Any opinions, good or bad?

I'm looking now at the Other World Computing Mercury drive, and the Lacie Porsche, both 60gb. The OWC has FW and USB, the L has only USB and is a little cheaper.

People seem to love or hate Lacie. I've had their drives for many years with little problem.
 
If you have never had a problem with LaCie, then get a lacie drive. Although I would deffinetly recommend using firewire over usb 2......
 
Someone was telling me abotu a FW hard drive that is so small it could fit in a pocket and I would use it with a laptop. I thought they were talking about those THUMB DRIVES but they claim it is a FW drive. I don't recall seeing anything like this that is that small for portable use.
