Choice of light?

Hey guys, I've saved up a grand and decided to spend it on lights. Right now I own a beginner 3 light lowel kit. I shoot shorts and I was wondering what light(s) you guys would buy for a guy like me on a workman's budget. I was thinking about buying one of those Cool Lights. But am having a hard time deciding which one would be best for me. Or if I even want a cool light. I heard they're heavy and I've already had one back operation.

My next short involves dark sequences lit by fish aquariums so obviously, halogen would be nice. Can anybody give me a recommendation on how they would spend a grand if they were in my position? Thanks. LJ.

Next month we'll have some lighter plastic versions of our Cool Light models. Some do use fluorescent to light aquariums. Some also use metal halide which is a hard light like halogens produce but more efficient. Just depends upon the effect you want. Will the light come from above the aquarium as most aquariums are lit this way or did you want it behind somehow?

Probably both. For when I'm shooting the aquarium and for when I'm shooting the actor being lit by the aquarium.
