China Ball Help UK

Hello guys!

So I decided to set up a china ball - i found several of them on ebay/amazon no problemo.

But then it came to selecting light fixtures and light bulbs I got confused :( I wanted bulbs of 250-300w and maybe 400-450w,cause I don't really want to risk the safety with 600w.

Could you please help me out on where to find a basic setup in UK?

Get a ceramic lamp base, zip cord (18 ga lamp cord), and a plug from a hardware store. The lower wattage bulbs can be found there, too. Higher wattage bulbs are usually found at photo stores.
 
You can find the ceramic bases on Ebay as well from UK sellers... they seem decent enough.

However, stay clear of the base splitters found there... I bought one for a couple of CPF lamps and out of the box this splitter looks and feels like its about to fall apart. It's pure cheap plastic. So you can't use hot lamps in it or you will risk melting and causing a fire.
