Chimera Speed Ring installation?

The Arri light manual is confusing, and the speed ring didn't come with instructions at all. I've got an Arri 1k Fresnel and I'm using a Chimera softbox. On the Arri they've got these 4 little things sticking out that looks like it holds something circular, and the top one actually pulls up and when you let go it goes back into position.

Do I simply insert the speed ring there, let go of the top latch and that's it? I've got it on there now but the speed ring seems to be jiggly on the front of it. Maybe I'm doing it wrong. I haven't found any instructions for it.
 
Yup. Reminds me of a time my friend wondered why his Fresnel lens always jiggled around. He decided to tighten it one day, when the glass cracked from expanding as the light got hot, he realized why they came like that.


Basically, moral of the story is you always gotta have a little jiggle in your life.
 
In the manual it talks about adding accessories (barn doors) but makes no mention of speed rings. On my T1, it's the little latch that pulls up a little, then comes back down when you let go. There's another one on other models that you can pull up and turn to the side though. I guess that's all there is to it but there's this clingclingcling jiggly sound. The speed ring moves forward/backward a bit and is caught by the wider part of the speed ring (I'd say an 8th of an inch of depth between the two parts). I also looked for some vids of it but haven't seen any.
