This is a clip from a Children's show I'm working on for Channel 19. I think it's more of a show for Bill O Reilly or Stephen Colbert would show to their kids. This one's theme is SHARING.

I dont mean this the wrong way but 'fondle your brain'...lose that line.
Once I heard that I thought ol Uncle Peteeee might be a perve. Sorry.
Just my immediate response.

Liked the editing and screen work though. Watched it about 6/7 times now and for some reason I can hear Jacks voice hollaring about the transitions/lead ins.

I dont know bud. You look like an okay guy and have a sense of humour but I'm not going to lie to ya. (I'm a prick). Needs a bit of work but on the right track I guess otherwise. This one did not cut it.

Sonyboo - I "get" the joke and I understand what you're trying to do. BUT you had two minutes of talking about why it's bad to share and I didn't hear a single punchline. I kept hoping it was leading to something funny but it just never got there.

With that same amount of time you could have had "3 things" that are bad to do instead of just focus on that one. Or maybe ended with something funny like a review of previous things Uncle Pete has been teaching them. Example:

"Remember kids...
- Always listen to Uncle Pete. He's on TV so he must be good.
- If you want to go to heaven, buy our sponsors products.
- Don't tell anyone about Uncle Pete. He's our little secret.

Tune in next time when Uncle Pete teaches you How to Unlock the Parental Lock on Your TV."


Other than that, technically it was fine. Nice greenscreen and graphics.
 
Ehhh I didn't really find these suggestions all that funny.

We already shot 8 of these

and FYI - the first one is under 1.5 minutes, which like all humor, subjectively I found the appropriate time for the jokes within.
 
I liked the fondle your brain line.

I felt it straddled the line of perv in awkward way...and that was funny....to me.

Which I thought was the point.

I didn't think it was too long but I didn't like the blackboard part as much as the rest.

Many thanks. Perverse, in a non sexual way, would be a great way to describe this series. More are on the way. We shot 8 in a row (I love greenscreen).
 
Umm... what audience are you going for? Obviously not kids. So is this supposed to be shown at night time?

It was okay. Over-all funny, but nothing made me laugh.
