They both look awesome

[J.R. Hudson]

These both do look sweet. I think Owen might be my favorite actor working right now (Besides Mel of course).

The Fountain...

Wow, how amazing is that? I remember hearing rumors about the Brad Pitt rendition, and I was SO disappointed when the project got canceled. I am a big fan of Aronofsky's work, and the excitement I had for this movie was completely killed...until now.

Though I am a pretty big fan of Brad Pitt, I think Hugh Jackman is an excellent choice for this role.

I hate the fact that I have to wait numerous years for an Aronofsky movie to come out, but it seems thus far that quality far outweighs quantity. Even though his legitimacy as a fantastic director has not been tried through the test of time due to his short track record, I think that over the next few years this guy is going to be one of the next "greats" in the industry.

Oh, and Children of Men didn't really interest me much, even though Owen is great. Maybe it will be better than the trailer. Just some thoughts.

Is the black girl that's in Children of Men, from The Lost World?

[The Machinist]

Children of Men.

Wow.

I can't wait for that.

Alfonso Cuaron is a bit of an unknown for me. I've seen Y Tu mama Tambien and loved the style and performances just not the story. And i avoid all things harry potter like the plague. However this strikes me as an original concept and right up the alley of my sensibility.
