Hey DVX'ers

Here's a link to a page of sample work i've done. I shot all of these with Sony and Canon cams, I just got my DVX on Dec. 23rd and i can't wait to use it. tThe Zen Shin link take a little while tol load but be patient, it's my best work. I'd love to hear feedback.

FAR out!  loved it-very creative editing and of course, use of color.

I have lots more questions than i can write..but

just a few..these are photos and video?

how did you get that paint bloby look? shooting paint?

it occurs at :17secs, before the light. that was nice.

how did you make the kaliedescope at the end?

what was this for? I read the intro at the trade show? a few more details.

Thanks for all the nice feedback, i'll try and answer a bunch of the questions.

I didn't do any work on the Fischerspooner video, i loved the way that video was filmed and part of it fit what i was doing, i just used some footage. that entire color piece was made for a client of mine solely for the purpose of catching peoples attention at the trade show. It worked out well and was done in iMovie believe it or not. I've moved on to all the pro apps since then.

the other two videos were done in FCP HD. Please check out Zen Shin when you get a chance, it's my latest piece. I wish i had the DVX when i shot that footage, it would have made a world of difference.

Colione,

The song used in the color piece is 'What's your favorite color'
by the group Living Color. It's an 80's song, i just can't seem to let the era go.

Good stuff. This probably isn't the most constructive comment, but I dig what you've done. You have a great sense of rhythm in your editing.

I was stating that i joined the group because i JUST received my DVX and was showing some samples of things i've done up to this point. i can't wait to do something with the DVX.
