No, actually he has reviewed lenses that he admits he has never physically handled. I like Ken, he is an entertaining writer and has some good ideas, but I would not confer the title "be-all, end-all still photo guru", he even admits that himself. A lot of us think that he just gets sick of answering newbie e-mails so he comes out with these ridiculous proclamations like "no photographer needs anything better than a Nikon D40". Kind of ludicrous really.
