Cheapest cameras that shoot high frame rate (HFR) in 4k for Sports Videography?

What are some of the cheapest cameras that shoot 120fps or possibly 240fps in 4k? Wanting something for sports videography. Wanting it for 4k slow motion that's converted to 24fps in post.

All my searches turn up are 1080p at 120fps or 240fps for cameras like the FS700, RX10 III, RX100 V.

Seems like the only cameras I can find that shoot 120fps in 4k are Red. So does that make the Red Raven the cheapest HFR 4k camera?

How cheap is "cheap"? HFR and 4k would not fall into the cheap category for me. Now the Sony RX line could be considered lower priced for ~1080p at 240 FPS.

Are your clients willing to pay you to reach for this brass ring of 4k @ 240 fps?

I guess better wording would be lowest priced, lol.

I've been searching across the web and the lowest priced 120fps 4k camera I've found is the Red Raven which isn't out yet.

Yeah, I guess the FS700 + Odyssey 7Q (and soon Shogun Inferno) is the cheapest 4K 60p camera (and odyssey can do a few seconds of 120p burst). After that I guess it's the FS7. 4K 120p, you are probably right about the raven.
I don't even want to think about how much data 4K 120p would need... I already think 4K 25p generates too large files so I shoot mostly using the 4Kto2K option in the 7Q ;)

Blackmagic URSA Version 2 shoots 4K/120p...$5000.

Version 1 shoots 4K/80p, which is still very slow. The PL mount is $3000 after a recent price drop, but the EF mount is still $4500+ or discontinued.

My friend is selling a V1 for super cheap if interested. Here's a sample of 4K/80p from the V1:

And the RED Raven is out; just shipping very slow. The cost of the Raven and accessories, however, would be 2-3x more than an URSA setup.

I was going to say Ursa too - it really is a very inexpensive option compared to others that shoot 120fps at 4k (Sony F65, F55 with new RAW recorder, Varicam 35, REDs, Phantom Flex 4k)...plus something NorBro forgot to mention - it's even GLOBAL SHUTTER!!! There are issues though that have been much discussed and can be searched for.
Other than that the FS700 is to my mind the only other "reasonably-priced" option, with the Odyssey 7Q - images are excellent, ergonomics...less so! And only in bursts of course.

I didn't know the FS700 could shoot slow motion in 4k at 120fps...

The above video has some random lines that pop into the image though. I've read that is one of the FS700 cameras downsides to shooting slow motion, random image artifacts.

Anyone know how far up it can go in 4k with the Odyssey 7Q? I have a shogun flame though, wonder if that would work with it.

It's tempting to get that Ursa but that thing is huge. 120 FPS with global shutter in 4k is pretty awesome though.

The Ursa does have great 4K framerates but unless you're shooting all outdoor sunlit sports the lack of high ISO performance will really make it tough to shoot 120fps indoors or at night. It's hard to get enough light shooting 120fps HD on my fs7 and its a much more light sensitive sensor.

Yea, inside, it's brutal. But that's why a global shutter for sports outside (assuming they are outside) would be a no-brainer. Brilliant images.

With Odyssey you get 120fps at 4k RAW or ProRes in 4 sec bursts (which is enough for a lot of stuff). Only Odyssey and the Sony RAW recorder will do it.

The issue with artifacts in 4K high speed material has been addressed in the current firmware.

FS700 and FS5 outputting 4K RAW can shoot a 440 frame burst at 120p. That's about 4 seconds and played back at 24fps it lasts around 18 seconds. Very useful for sports.
