Cheap wireless system?

This would be used for corporate/industrial commercial work, so quality has to be good but not stellar. Being used with an HV20, so it would need to have a mini output. Is there a reasonably priced system that'll work, or is renting a better option?

I was hoping for something ~$200.

Senn's run about $500 I know it's a little more than you want to spend, but I'ts worth the cost. You'll make your money back with them.

At that cost I suppose I'll make due without, and possibly pick that up once I've gotten some work. Could you link to what you're referring to?

If I eventually opt to get this it'll be more than good enough to be intercut with an NTG2, correct?

I use it to my Sennheiser ME64/K6 without problem and I think it should be no problem with NTG2

pretty terrible. muddy and just bad sounding. check out the countryman emw or b3 for a decent budget minded lav mic.

500+160 = 800? its still an investment for sure. A wired boom would be better though - I only lav when I have to and only go wireless if I really have to. A boomed shotgun/hyper has a more realistic sound to me and the wireless just mucks up the signal even more.

550+180+shipping+duty(from B&H)=~800, yeah.

Any thoughts on that lectro kit though? I may have to use wireless for a few shots in a short I'm doing soon. Come to think of it, what's a good wired LAV system? That may be a better option.

ah Canada eh. Guess thats 800 then. Just curious but is that 550 USD or Canadian? I couldve sworn BH had the g2's for 499. good cheap wired lav will still be the coutryman b3 and emw. you can get them with just about any connector for any wireless system or phantom powered xlr.

I dont know much about the specific lectro models but I know they are fantastic as far as wireless kits go, just too rich for my budgets...

Phantom powered could be an issue. It'll work while I can borrow my school's camera, but is there any wired solution that's usable with a beachtek adapter/hv20?
