Charli
cool little "title"
My Host Gator account is up next month. I've been through the search feature looking up web hosting sites and I cannot find a definitive answer to which web host is favorite among all of you. Maybe everyone's needs are different.
My needs are for portfolio of work (several sites for screenplays, short scripts, short films, e-books), personal blog, affiliate market sites (several affiliate products) and studio company website.
I have over a dozen sites I want to set up next year. I hope this holiday season I can get in a good rate or yearly rate for a host site. Pay like half for the year or near that like I did with Host Gator. I like Gator but when I'm 70+ caller out of 100+ callers for tech support, it can be a bit off putting.
I found an article about cheap web hosting sites you can pay through Paypal, which is what I absolutely need, no credit card charges please, so any site that doesn't offer Paypal is not an option for me. Here is the article:Paypal Hosting
According to the article the four sites, Gator, 1and1, BlueHost, iPage are all 99.9% uptime guarantee, all have good customer service support. I can't see where one web hosting site clearly outdoes the others.
So I'd like to take a vote according to the web hosting sites on this article. I've used GoDaddy and I didn't like it. I hated the control panel.
Any complaints, feedback, please feel free to give me advice. I need to know how "easy to use" the control panel is and how "fast to answer questions" their tech support help is for that site.
Any help really appreciated. Got to do something by the 26th of next month.
Thanks.
