Cheap way to power LED lights in the field.

My buddy found these:

and uses them to power his LED lights. They last 45 min on one LED 1000w equivalent and 25 min on two LED's. I thought I would share if your looking for a cheap way. I never would have though of it. He got his for 15$ and bought light 5 or 6!

I was at Home Depot a while ago and found some 6-volt batteries that were intended to be used in light-up exit signs in commercial buildings. Sorry, I forget what chemistry they used or how much they cost. They were in the aisle with the crimped electrical connectors and speaker cables (which is what I was buying).

The reason I mention that is because the UPS you linked to uses similar batteries and they might only be half the price.
