I second the SGM-1X, sounds much cleaner, and as I mentioned before, even sounds cleaner than the more expensive SGM-2X. I like the fact that it comes with a starter foam piece and a basic shockmount that can go on a hotshoe or boompole. All u need is a $13 18" XLR cable and you are good to go. btw the DVXuser discount on that mic is $144.50, http://www.evsonline.com/merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=SGM1X

AT 897 sounds cleaner and warmer, but does not come with a shockmount and costs $100 more; If you can afford it, though, go for it, it is an amazing mic for the price.
