Cheap miniDV for Travel

I know this is a more pro forum (I do use a DVX100a) But i'm doing quick research/purcahse of a cheap but good enough miniDV camcorder. I'm looking at Panasonics PV-GS120. A no frills kind of camcorder. I'm not too worried about manual controls. I need something that I can just whip out and shoot that fits in my palm and won't be distracting or tantalizing to thieves (well that might be unavoidable). Basically I'm gonna be doing some travelling to Indonesia and need a trusty camera that'll survive and be able to take descent images.

Anyone use the PV-GS120? At least it's 3CCD. ;)

thanks in advance.

Also won't consider other brands as I'd like to stick to Panasonic in hopes of using batteries from my DVX. But to think of it the battery for the smaller camcorders probably won't work with the more pro stuff. or Vice Versa...

OK well how about any Canon cameras?
