So i recently purchased a dvx100a and are using it to film skateboarding. Not my main reason i have it but yeah. I am wanted the dvxmkii but i don't want to spend $700. The raynox MX-3000 would ruin the quality of the dvx. Help?
Sorry don't know if its the right section

century optics ultra fisheye is the only good fisheye available for the DVX (especially for skateboarding) and that will set you back almost $800. Century makes a cheaper fisheye for like $600 I think that would do for alot of shots, but definitely not for skateboarding cause it doesn't have near the barrel distortion or angle of view as the $800 one

this is the one and only fish for skateboarding: http://www.schneideroptics.com/ecommerce/CatalogItemDetail.aspx?CID=1076&IID=1726

Yeah thanks and i know about that But itll run me 650, used that is 750 new. I guess i'm just going to have to deal with it. Where can i find a cheap letus35

you can't find a cheap letus35... especially if you want the letus extreme!

Check out this product from VFGadgets http://www.vfgadgets.com/RedEye.htm

It'll run you around $400 depending on which one you get. It's thinner than the Schneider one. You can partially zoom through it with the DVX and HVX. It allows you to use the native lens hood (if you don't have a mattebox... probably a biggy for you since skateboarding outside will suffer the effects of sunlight and what not)

I think that's the way to go!
