Cheap charger killed my batteries,help in ABQ

Hi guys!

I bought a cheap universal charger at walmart, figured I could charge twice as fast with my Panny charger and the universal. Well it ended up screwing half my batteries, they now last only for a couple of minutes.

Wondering if there's anyway to refresh the batteries, or if anyone knows where I could buy a new CGR-D's in Albuquerque?

Video Technical Services is the only authorized Panny Pro dealer here in NM

They are just NW of San Mateo and Central. Not sure if they have batteries in stock but all the DV PROLINE Camcorders use the same batts so they should have something.
