"Cheap" Blue-ray recorder?

I totally doubt it, I was in Best Buy checking out the blue ray "players" earlier today, and just the player was going for $399.00. Now what doesn't make sense is that I can buy a PS3 for $499.00 with an 80 gig hard drive and play my games and watch blue ray. Just to top it off it's a portable writer and player which just sounds too good to be true for $589 marked down from $800
 
Actually, my new MacMall catalog has an external Blu-Ray Burner/Player for 586. They are as legitimate as you can get, so the pice is very realistic.
