I had been meaning to check this as it had been brought up previously.
The DR-100 has a dual power supply via AA and a internal Li-Io battery. The Li-Io charges via either external charger or usb. Using a iPhone AC power adapter and usb cable, I plugged in the DR-100 and baddabing; charges fine. I think it was suspected to work, but I don't recall anyone confirming this.
