And is there a way to charge batterys from a solar cell? Which charger will work with the 3500 mah Li-ion battery?

Refrase my question:
* Is there a DVX charger that will charge on the DC car outlet?
* Will there be a way to feed that charger with a solar cell?

Re: charging batterys with the sun...

I have a panasonic twin charger (VW-AD9E) and with the optional car adaptor cord (VW-KA7E), you can supply power from the cigarette lighter socket in the car.

looks something like this:

There are other compatible chargers available in my country which do the same.

Can't help you on your second question

The Lenmar Mach 1 can be charged in the car (12v)

I'm not familiar with any solar panels that can be hooked up to the 12v plug, but I'm sure they exist.
