Charge more for shooting near salt water or you'll eat the maintenance repair costs

The repair and maintenance costs for sea and ocean location shoots for me are in the thousands. With only a few weeks of exposure to the element, I couldn't believe how much damage it has done to the camera servo lens unit, lens and other gear. Salt water doesn't mix well with cams. I see screws being corroded off. Iris ring got stuck due to corroded metal part inside and all sort of problems. Charge 25% more for any shoot involving the ocean or rent the gear.

I know your pain, I remember well warning an employer about transporting their new sat truck on an small open ferry in an area renowned for rough seas and swells, it would have been lashed with seawater. It was fully loaded worth well over £500,000 back in the day.

A reporter once disappeared off to a local beach with a new Sony Z1, the camera was trashed, never mind the seawater, the sand was everywhere.
