Chaning resolution of particular event

I have events with different resolutions on time line and I need to increase the size of some events a little bit (because of black bars around the picture). I tried track motion - it works, but its affecting the whole track. Its possible to affect only particular events, or the only way how to do this is to place particular events on their own track? Thanks for help! (Pan and crop in this case doesn help)

I'm puzzled Pan and Crop isn't working - while in Pan & Crop you remembered to right click and select Match Output Aspect?

Pan/crop should be the way to do it. What exactly are you doing? Details -- kind of footage, resolution of footage, resolution of project, exactly what you're doing in pan/crop, etc.
