Changing sequence timecode

I'm editing 24pa using FCP HD (not the newest one) and am having trouble adjusting sequence timecode settings. When I click modify>timecode for a particular sequence, the only frame rates that FCP lets me choose are 30 and 60 (25, 24@25, and 24 are all greyed out). Can someone help me out? I want 24, correct?

First you don't want t modfy timecode.
If you're creating a new sequence change it's settings to 23.98
Once you put clips into the sequence you won't be able to change the fps.
If you want to remove pulldown for the clip set it remove advanced pulldown on capture or select the clips i nthe bin and go to Tools -> Remove Advanced Pulldown
You also don't say which version of FCP you have. There are now 2 or 3 versions that support 23.98 and advanced pulldown.
