Question: "Can you change a projects frame rate (23.97/29.97) between DVD chapters?"
Heres the background to my problem:
I have two short projects both shot in 24p mode. One I edited on a 29.97 timeline (in Premiere) and then later on I bought Vegas and edited the second film on a 23.976 timeline. I would have like to bring them together on the same timeline (preferably a 23.97 timeline so I can spit out a 24P DVD) but I know from reading the White Paper I cant do that without compressing one or the other. I've tried both ways the results are of noticeably lesser quality . The two videos share the same song with one cut to the begining of the song and the other video cut to end where the first video left off.
My question to you is would it be possible to somehow bend the rules set in Vegas and do a little trick to bring them seemlessly together. My idea is to make each project happy by keeping them on their native frame rate timelines but still bring them seemlessly together by only seperating them by putting them in different chapter on the DVD.
So can you change the frame rate between DVD chapters?
BTW Im using Vegas 4.0 and DVD Architect
Thanks.
