Changing duration for a range of still clips

I'm working with Premiere Pro 1.5. I imported a bunch of still images that I'd like to insert in different places on the timeline. It seems that I can only change the duration for a still one clip at a time. Is there a way to select all of them and change the duration at the same time? I realize that I can pre-set the duration time and frame length up front but if it doesn't look right after inserting them then I have to go back and change each one. A big pain!

I believe you will have to re-import the images after you make this change.

Edit, Preferences, Still Images. Change default duration to whatever you need.
