Changing aspect ratio in FCP + importing stills

A few quick questions about FCP.

What menu do you go to if you want to put bars around your image to a ratio of 2:35:1? I know you can do 16:9, but you can manipulate the bars to other aspect ratios?

I'm also wanting to insert some stills onto the FCP timeline. I've saved the still as a .tiff file in Photoshop. It was shot on a 6 megapixel camera. From memory, 6 megapixels means you can print to A2 size, which is obviously larger than the dimensions of miniDV. So, to import this into FCP, would it be best to resize the photo in photoshop first?

You should post these types of questions to the FCP section of the forum. As you can see, you won't get a lot of repsonses here.
