Change Settings?

I'm using FCP 7 and starting a project, adding Canon 7D 30p footage that's been exported first to Apple ProRes 422 in MPEG Streamclip. The Sequence Preset is Apple ProRes 422 1920x1080 30p 48KHz. When I drop the exported footage into the timeline, for some reason it asks me whether to "change sequence settings to match clip settings?" If I say yes, the Field Dominance registers "Upper (Odd)," and if I say no, the Field Dominance registers "None."

Should I say yes or no? Why?

The timeline will also be mixing in some HDV footage exported to Apple ProRes 422 and there's no Field Dominance there.

So the original Sequence Setting in the Apple ProRes 422 1920x1080 30p 48KHz timeline shows there is no Field Dominance. I don't know why the 30p 7D footage displays "Upper (Odd)" Field Dominance. But the HDV footage (captured in HDV- Apple ProRes 422) I also wish to add to this timeline also has no Field Dominance. Don't know what to do between the two?

I still haven't figured out how to resolve this issue.

Trying to mix 2 different 30 frame rate sources, Canon 7D and Canon HX-A1s onto a ProRes 422 30P timeline sequence. The 7D has "Upper/Odd" Field Dominance while the XH-A1s has "None" Field Dominance.

Does anybody know if this is a big deal or if it can be resolved? Your help would be greatly appreciated.
