Hi all,
I've read all over the internet that the only way to change PAL to 24p is to slow it down by 4%.
Strange as I've always converted it without slowing down or problems..
You can convert PAL to 24p:
Option 1.
Just load up the PAL file in Vegas, click File -> Properties -> change 'frame rate' to 24. Then render away. Presto! 24p.
Option 2.
Just open the PAL file in Vegas, right-click on it in the timeline, click 'properties', in 'undersample rate' change it to 0.960. Then render. Presto! 24p.
Option 3.
Now this option will actually slow down the video and audio by 4%. Right-click the media file in the time line in Vegas. Click 'properties'. Click 'disable resample'. Where it says Playback rate, type 0.960. Click File -> preferences -> change 'frame rate' to 24p. Then render your project. Presto! 24p.
Is this wrong?
Cheers
