I am hoping that someone might be able to sway me in one direction or another. We are shooting a documentary where there will be a lot of sea kayaking including in and around sea caves, volcanic/rock cliffs. We need to pick a wireless solution:
I am considering the Sennheiser SK500G2 and the EK500G2;
Also considering the Senn SK001G2 and the EK100G2;
then of course there is the Lectrosonics who offers the MM400C (Watertight) and appropriate receiver but the cost is substainally higher.
Any thoughts on a good solution? While I really like Sennheiser products, trying to protect the gear from salt water is going to be a challenge.
I am trying (of course) to stay within budget ($3K).
