After reading a thread or two here and there I found the time to pull some of my lights out and do a little comparison. Here are the results.

All Shots made with Light source 6ft. From Foamcore white board. The CFL's used a Softbox and I set the edge of the diffuser at 6ft. to foamcore, otherwise flashguns, fresnels, etc were all 6ft. from glass to whiteboard.
The SB600 and Yongnuo flash both used their built in diffuser panel.

First is a collage SOOC

Next is a combined crop from the SOOC jpg's. I simply took the WB picker in LR3 and balanced them without altering further.

Hopefully someone gets something from this.

You know, really it's just an old Smith-Victor halogen 650w lamp. Turn on turn off: hot. I junked the plain glass lens, redid the holders to go from 5" glass to the 6" fres lens...and it seems to work quite well. Just resurrected an old lamp. Thanks for asking.
