Certain MXF files from P2 not being recognized in log and transfer window

I'm shooting a documentary on the HVX200 and most of my workflow has been smooth and self-explanatory thus far. I've only run into one problem: when I mount certain volumes in the log and transfer window, some MXF files show up, and some don't.

To clarify, I'm looking at the log and transfer window for a given card, and five MXF files show up. In finder, I'm looking at the same location, and there are those five same MXF files, plus one or two more.

We've shot some of the documentary on the HMC150 and I've actually run into the same problem with certain AVCHD files not showing up in log and transfer.

Has anyone encountered or found a solution to this problem, or does anyone know an inexpensive alternative way to convert P2 MXF files to prores?

Many thanks,

Spencer

Have you copied the MXF files (with the txt file of course) onto a hard drive and then try importing them from the hard drive? Could the clips be damaged? Perhaps run a repair clip. Another option is opening the clip with the P2CMS software (free from Panasonic). I've had clips that I couldn't open and that software did the trick. Hope one of these ideas work out for you.
